Thrippunithura or Tripunithura is a well-known historical and residential area in the city of Kochi in Kerala, India. Tripunithura has located about 8 km (5 miles) from the city center and was the capital of the former Kingdom of Cochin. The Hill Palace located in Tripunithura was the royal residence of the Maharaja of Cochin, the ruler of the Kingdom of Cochin.
