Mavoor, Kerala
Mavoor is a town in Kozhikode district in Kerala, India. It is located 20 km from the metropolis of Kozhikode. The earlier name Mavur changed to Pulpparambu, which means “hayfields” in Malayalam, as the grass was stored in this town for roofing the houses. By the sixties, Mavoor became like any other village in Kerala.
