The Hindu Raghunath Temple is a Hindu temple in Jammu. It is one of the largest temple complexes in northern India. Located in Jammu in the Indian province of Jammu and Kashmir, the temple was built by Maharaja Gulab Singh and his child Maharaja Ranbir Singh of the Rajput group. The temple houses numerous divine beings in its complex of places of worship, but the deciding god is Rama, an avatar of Vishnu.
The influence of Mughal engineers is found in all the winding towers, which are gilded, except for the roofing of the main altar, which is said to be in the Sikh compositional style. The spaces in the partitions of the places of worship are dignified with 300 very elaborate images of the deities. The artistic creations on the 15 panels of the main place of worship are attributed to the Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagavad Gita.
