Piravom is a region in Ernakulam district and a suburb of Kochi in the Indian state of Kerala. It is located about 30 km southeast of Kochi city center and about 40 km north of Kottayam. Piravom is known for notable Hindu shrines and Syrian Christian temples.
Piravom Valiya Pally, one of the oldest temples in Kerala, stands on a peak on the eastern bank of the Muvattupuzha River in Piravom. The town lies on the banks of the Muvattupuzha waterway.
