Perumbavoor is a municipality in Ernakulam district in the Indian state of Kerala. It is located at the northeastern tip of the Greater Cochin Zone and is also the central command of Kunnathunad Taluk. Perumbavoor is known throughout the state for its timber companies and small businesses. Ernakulam is 33 km southwest of Perumbavoor.
