The Mughal Gardens, popularly known as the “soul” of the Presidential Palace, are located within the Rashtrapati Bhawan complex. The gardens cover an area of 13 acres and are a wonderful blend of Mughal architecture and British styleThe Mughal Gardens are home to rare and endangered varieties of over 159 species of flowers, including tulips, daffodils, Asiatic lilies, hyacinths, vicarious, etc. The complex also houses four water tanks with bubbling water fountains springing from red sandstone lotus bases. This marvelous example of nature’s majestic beauty is open to the public for a specific time during the months of February and March during the Udyanotsav festival.
