Kothamangalam is a beautiful town in the hills of Kerala, India. Kothamangalam is currently one of the most important pioneer towns of Kerala with twelve places of worship, about six ancient shrines, and several sacrosanct mosques. The place is profoundly celebrated by the ancient Thrikariyoor Temple, mosques, St George Cathedral, St Mary’s Church Marthamariyam Valiyapally, and Mar Thoma Cheria Pally. The town is also known as the Entrance of High Range. The Kothamangalam region was established in 1978 and is the seat of the Kothamangalam Taluk.
