The Regional Science Centre at Vigyan Dham, Jhajra in Dehradun, is a newly established science park. It offers a variety of indoor and outdoor exhibits and installations to educate people, especially children. It houses exhibits on nuclear power generation, robotics, cloud computing, carbon nanotubes and graphene and more.
The Regional Science Centre covers an area of about 30,450 square metres and includes the main building and the science park. It has a Himalayan Gallery that focuses on Himalayan geography, geology, tourism, cultural and traditional knowledge and houses a replica of the Amarnath Caves. Other facilities in the building include a Fun Science Gallery, a Frontiers of Technology Gallery, a 3D theatre, an Innovation Hub (a laboratory equipped with tools and instruments to promote innovation), a large auditorium, a library, etc.
