Angamaly is a municipality and the northernmost suburb of the city of Kochi in Kerala, India. Located about 30 km north of the city center, the area is the northern gateway to the commercial capital of Kerala and an indispensable part of the Kochi metropolitan region. The town is located at the junction of Main Central Road MC Road and National Highway 47. MC The road, which begins at Thiruvananthapuram, ends at Angamaly at its junction with NH 47. Ngamaly is connected all around by all modes of transport. Cochin International Airport is in the Angamaly area.
The Angamaly railway station, where all major modes of transport stop, is a major hub for connectivity between the eastern part of the town and the rest of the country. There is a proposed railway line from Angamaly to Sabarimala, which will connect the ranges with the swamp area.
