Also known as Agar Sain Ki Baoli or Ugrasen ki Baoli, this attraction is a historical monument on Halley Road in New Delhi. Agrasen ki Baoli, a mosaic of various stones and rocks, is an ancient water reservoir that rises from the depths of the earth and stands on 103 stone steps. Tucked away amidst the business towers and residential buildings of central Delhi, this place is a tranquil and serene experience perfect for photography lovers. Agrasen ki Baoli is a protected monument under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 of the Archaeological Survey of India.
The structure of Agrasen Ki Baoli is 15 meters wide and 60 meters long, which is quite impressive considering that it is believed to have been built during the time of the Mahabharata. On the southwestern side is a mosque standing on four pillars with a heavy stone roof. Interestingly, this site is famous for being haunted and visitors have claimed that they often feel a strange presence here.
