The Regional Science Centre at Vigyan Dham, Jhajra in Dehradun, is a newly established science park. Clock Tower, Dehradun
The Clock Tower, also known as “ghanta ghar”, is a very famous tourist attraction. It was started in the year 1948 and completed in 1953. Kalinga War Memorial, Dehradun
Kalinga War Memorial is located 5.5 km from Dehradun Railway Station, on Sahastradhara Road in Dehradun. This is the most important war memorial in the world built by an armed power for its enemies. The Kalinga War Memorial in Dehradun was built by the British. The Anglo-Gurkha War took place between the Gurkha officers and the British army in 1814. The Gurkhas from Nepal attacked the Garhwal area.
They captured Kalinga Fort in Nalapani but were eventually defeated by the British army. In the midst of the battle, the Gurkha warriors secured the Kalinga Fort in Nalapani for over a month and a half without drinking water or food. They were determined to fight to their demise and engaged in a fierce battle with the British army. Such strength and intrepidity was extremely inspiring to the British and they manufactured this devotion for the Gurkha soldiers.

Wadia Institute Of Himalayan Geology, Dehradun

Indian Military Academy, Dehradun
The Indian Military Academy in Dehradun was commissioned on the first of October 1932. It is located about 8 km from the city on the Dehradun-Chakrata Road. Initially, it started with a batch of 40 cadets. The principal commandant of this institute was Brigadier L.P. Collins.
With the specific objective of setting up an Indian Military Academy, the administration acquired the erstwhile Railway University of Dehradun. Known as the Chetwode Building, it was named after Field Marshal Sir Philip Chetwode. He was the Commander-in-Chief of India at the time of the establishment of the Indian Military Academy.
Sai Darbar Temple, Dehradun
Sai Darbar Temple is one of the pious and popular non-secular places in Dehradun. It is built of white marble and the idol of Sai Baba is located in the centre of the temple. The Laxman Siddh temple is located 12 km from Dehradun on the Haridwar/Rishikesh Road. The Santala Devi Shrine is a religious shrine in Dehradun and is also known by other names like Santaura Devi Shrine and Santaula Devi Shrine.
This shrine is one of the most visited places in Dehradun. In the shrine, Sanatala Devi is worshipped along with her siblings. It is believed that when Santala Devi and her siblings realised that they would not be able to fight the Mughal army, they decided to lay down their weapons and pray to God.
